Miles Cohen
Founder
Instructor
Miles discovered partner dancing at about the same time he moved
to the Seattle area to work for Microsoft in 2002. Immediately he
was taken by it, devoting the majority of his evenings and
weekends to dancing ever since. The three dances Miles splits his
time between are Argentine Tango, Lindy Hop (a form of swing
dancing), and Blues.
Miles began teaching in 2007, getting his start as a tango
instructor working with the8thstyle.com. In 2008 he moved on to
create SlowDanceConnection, forming a partnership with Redmond Parks
and Rec, and creating the curriculum for "Slow Dancing".
